Mom is telling me something
Mom is telling me something
Captured during the summer of 2023 with a Diana Mini camera and expired Lucky Color film, this series preserves moments of calm and serenity experienced during a visit to my mother. Through these images, I sought to immortalize a simple yet meaningful walk, where time felt suspended, bringing me back to a more carefree state of mind, far from the fast-paced rhythm of Parisian life.
The technical choices—a toy camera and expired film—infuse an unpredictable, nostalgic aesthetic, with altered colors and imperfections reflecting the fragility of memory. The soft, vibrant hues of summer hay become a symbol of these shared moments, bridging childhood memories with the present.
This series is an invitation to rediscover the beauty of ordinary moments, where simplicity and familial bonds take on a universal dimension. Through this exploration, I pay homage to memory and the emotions it continues to evoke.
